Description
A sculpture of a Nymph by Aristide Mailol in Washington DC's Hirshhorn Museum’s Sculpture Garden, cast from a mold first used as the central figure of a trio of dancing nymphs with linked hands. The original intent of hand holding can be gleaned from her upraised palms, but with the weather conditions that day it seemed just as appropriate that she might try to catch the rain.
