Dam monument

 Just downstream from the large Loch Raven Dam (or possibly the "Upper" Loch Raven Dam) in Baltimore County is this much smaller (possibly known as the "Lower") dam. I'm always in favor of flavor text being added to things that explain their origins or maybe a nice informative plaque, and the stone set here has been carved with some interesting trivia. So of course there are a bunch of signs and obstructions set up preventing access to it for some unknown reason (these days it's most likely to be "safety"- or "fear of terrorism"- related). Bloody authoritarian killjoys always make everything more complicated.

 At least it's a nice view once you get there.
