GPF - Path to the stream

I guess the aliens got tired of our obsession with their interstellar traffic signs - too many humans obscuring the sigils makes for a shoddy sense of direction. Misplacing our strange wood-based contraptions in the cornfields was a legitimate attempt at more confusion; while we tromp all over boards whose appearance actually mean nothing, our annoyed 'neighbors' will at least be able to travel in relative peace, without having to beam down and look for themselves.
