Scenic Locustdale, PA

Here we see a picture that seems fairly representative of the appropriately named town of Locustdale, Pennsylvania. This yard is in a cluster of five abandoned houses.

I must say, you get a real feel of the term 'rust belt' when visiting the Locustdale/Centralia corridor; it's a genuine manmade wasteland. Shame, as the area would be very pretty if it weren't for the decaying towns, huge piles of coal, and industrial waste sites.
