On my birthday this year I took a hike out in the woods, and at a certain juncture I stood atop a cliff jutting out over an inlet with a cool breeze blowing off from the water. It seems like a perfectly ordinary experience, but I found it to be a nearly perfect moment of tranquility. The thing that bothers me that there is no way for me to properly encapsulate my subjective experience in either words or pictures. Any attempt to do so will automatically lose something in translation due to other people not having the same frame of reference or mental state.

How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Eight and a half years or so.
What does your username mean?
It was intended to be a joke of sorts. Realized over time that it was too long and being called "Seeker" is kind of weird, but I've had the thing too long to change it now.
Describe yourself in three words.
Honest. Irreverent. Clever.
Are you left or right handed?

What was your first deviation?
Oh, that's long gone. I've culled a lot of my early photography over the years. This is probably the earliest date-wise still in the gallery:

30 Question Video Game Challenge
I shall have new content shortly, as I have ten rolls of film to develop. Unfortunately, I also need a new camera; I don't really want to switch to a digital SLR, but developing film is expensive and it's getting steadily harder to find places to buy film in the first place. :/
In the meantime, I'm blatantly stealing the following from ~JocelynSamara (https://www.deviantart.com/jocelynsamara). I believe that it's supposed to be a question a day, but flooding inboxes with a question a day would be incredibly obnoxious of me.
Q1 - Very first video game.
Some of my earliest memories are of playing arcade games like Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, and (Ms.) Pac Man, but I can't nar
Today in semi-obscure video game history
April 11, 2011 is the day that the JRPG Persona 4 begins, so make sure to stare into your blank TV screen at midnight the next time it rains.

Very intersting point! It is a shame, isn't it? I think that, even if you can only get so close to expressing things in a way that is most clear and ideal, it makes the experience unique to all. Even though the viewer may not see it in the way you were hoping they would, it means something to them personally. Your experience becomes the viewer's and it allows not only for the viewer to understand how you value your experience, but they have the ability to add there own value to their experience.
